Gloss, Cut & Shiver is the first extract from The Day Begins With a Loud Boom,

Gi-Lo is the solo project of the multi-instrumentalist of the French techno-punk duo Bracco. In this project, the artist doubles down on the industrial and techno character of his previous productions. Fruit of his collaboration with photographer Laurianne Bixhain and author Chloé Chignell, and further evidence of his penchant for hybrid projects, The Day Begins With a Loud Boom is the artist's 1st EP.

Incisive and sharp, its blend of acid rhythms with raw melodies offers a narrative at once dense and threatening. In its oscillations between the suffocating anxieties of a pre-dominant system of production and the mirage of serenity, it conveys emotions which are ambivalent, even contradictory, but above all complex.

Full EP release in February 2024 as part of a photographic project by Laurianne Bixhain, showcased at the Mudam, Luxembourg's museum of Modern Art.

Limited print edition of 300 copies of the full artistic project including the booklet, photographies and 10" vinyle.
